Celebrating its ninth year, Hair magazine’s Hair Awards continues to wow readers and hair professionals alike with the annual winners announcement and Awards supplement, the booklet that gives you the lowdown on all things Hair Awards and is an absolute go-to for all your haircare needs.
This year’s Hair Awards proved that Hair readers are as keen as ever to trial a vast array of hair care, styling and finishing products and accessories in the quest to name the best in our Super 60 categories. Previous year’s winners have included such hero products as Philip Kingsley Elasticizer for Best Intensive Conditioning Treatment 2013, Curly Sexy Hair Curl Reactivator, Best Styling Product for Curls 2013, The Halo, Best Instant Extensions 2013, and VO5 Give Me Texture Dry Spray, Best Texturising Product 2013. But which products will be making their mark this time around?
At the Hair Awards pro Judging Day which took place in April, the cream of British hairdressing gathered at London’s Sadlers Wells theatre to pore over entries for The Cut and Talent Scout categories, where last year’s winners included the likes of Jamie Stevens of Jamie Stevens Hair, Best Men’s Hairdresser, The House of Rush, Best London Salon, HOB Salons, Best Salon Group, Tazmyn Dambrauskas of Brooks+Brooks, Talent Scout, and Hooker & Young, ‘I Want That Hair!’, not to mention Hair Hero, Errol Douglas MBE! So which names will be at the top of their game for 2014?
Nowhere else can you find out the best salons, stylists, hair products and tools, as judged by consumers and some of the biggest names in the hair world.
With the final results kept closely under wraps, even the Hair team at large don’t know the all-important winning names as yet, but all will be revealed in the Hair Awards 2014 supplement, so make sure you pick up your free copy when you buy the June issue of Hair (on sale 8th May).
