AW Trends

For AW19 the go to colours for the season are deep reds and dark chocolate – think luxurious and glossy. Both colours have been hugely popular with Afro clients over the past three to four weeks and we are seeing a surge in clients opting for these shades as we progress deeper into autumn and winter.

Styling wise, clients are opting for low maintenance styles such as high ponytails and relaxed braids. Both styles can be completely transformed using accessories such as small hoops or large hair grips with diamantes for extravagance. For something different, patterned material can be woven into the style to create a statement.

2020 Afro trends

As we progress towards the New Year, 2020 is all about sleek styles with clients opting for sophisticated, sharp and clean cut looks. Those with short natural afro hair will see hair moulded into bob-like shapes using products such as KeraCare Protein Styling Gel in order to hold the style in place and keep it frizz free.
