Sinead Kelly London took the judging panel by storm and seized the 2016 L’Oréal Colour Trophy Award – the industry’s longest running and most renowned hair award. Simon Webster Hair was awarded with second place and Blushes Gloucester scooped third place.

The highly anticipated L’Oréal Professionnel Men’s Image Award was won by Urban Retreat, London. Celebrated runner up in this award was Laura Leigh Hair & Beauty, Cheltenham.

The L’Oréal Colour Trophy Regional Awards were presented to all nine regions by Adam Reed from Percy & Reed who explained just how difficult the judging process had been due to the amazing hair work produced by all the competitors.

The Regional Award winners for 2016 are:

Northern Ireland – Peter Mark, Lisburn
Scotland – Romuald SA, Elderslie
North Eastern – Conrad Blandford
North Western – Royston Blythe
Midlands – Nashwhite
Eastern – Vae Hair
South Western – Blushes Gloucester
Southern – Simon Webster Hair, Brighton
London – Sinead Kelly London

The L’Oréal Professional STAR Award judges favourite were announced on stage by Paul Dennison from Ken Picton. These aspiring colourists all winners in their region were competing to win a place on an exclusive winner’s photoshoot in Paris next month. The winner was Grace Dalgleish from the London region.

Presented by Michelle Thompson from the Francesco Group, The Mizani Afro Look Award revealed an amazing influx of multi-skilled hairdressers with the 2016 title award going to Peter Mark, Forest Side, Belfast. Their stunning model look merged rich colour with a wearable precision cut and was a clear favourite with the judges.

Transforming this annual Awards event into a true hair extravaganza were the sensational shows by the Rush artistic team and L’Oréal Professionnel, who brought together the collective talents of Haringtons, Jonny Engstrom at Guy Kremer, Mark Woolley of Electric London, Richard Phillipart at The Boutique Atelier, Headmasters & Andrew Mulvenna.
