With 1,000 in attendance, The National Taiwan University’s Sport Stadium was fit to bursting with some of the finest talents in the hair industry as well as international press, and the floor was set for Tina and Andy to hit the catwalk. International Director, Andy shared his expertise on cutting while Editorial Director, Tina, engaged the audience on the editorial looks from her previous collections along with directional styling for longer hair.
The team were given a styling brief consisting of four futuristic-inspired themes which they could enhance by putting their own spin on the concept to create some stunning looks.
Each look differed from the next, from ‘Office Lady’ featuring geometric cuts with an elegant and feminine edge, to the candyfloss-textured hair of the ‘Artist’ collection. The models showcased in the ‘Spaceman’ collection displayed some well crafted Avant Garde hairstyles, while in the ‘Super Star’ collection, vivid colour was key to the looks, with the Rush team using the L’Oreal Professionnel hair chalk on stage to create eyecatching and beautiful hues.
Both Andy and Tina were thrilled to have been invited to take part in the show. Andy commented, “The astounding reaction to the night has proved was a great success it has been. This is the first project of this magnitude from L’Oreal in Taiwan in a very long time and we are honoured that Rush Hair was a part of it.”
